Tender Korean BBQ chicken, melted cheese, and sesame in a crispy wrap grilled golden brown.

# What You'll Need:

→ Korean BBQ Chicken

01 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
02 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
03 - 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
04 - 1 tablespoon honey
05 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
08 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
09 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
10 - 2 scallions, thinly sliced

→ Wraps

11 - 4 large flour tortillas
12 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
13 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
14 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
15 - 2 tablespoons scallions, thinly sliced
16 - 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

# Directions:

01 - Combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar in a bowl. Add thinly sliced chicken breasts and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
02 - Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook, stirring, for 4 to 5 minutes until fully cooked and caramelized. Stir in toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions, then remove from heat.
03 - Lay out the tortillas. On one half of each tortilla, evenly sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, then top with a generous portion of the cooked chicken mixture. Scatter extra scallions and a pinch of toasted sesame seeds.
04 - Fold each tortilla over to create a half-moon shape. Brush the outside of each wrap with softened unsalted butter.
05 - Heat a clean skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Grill each wrap for 2 to 3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
06 - Remove wraps from heat, let rest for 1 minute. Slice in half and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like two completely different comfort foods decided to become best friends, and somehow it works.
  • You can have dinner ready in under 40 minutes, which means more time to actually eat and less time stressing.
  • The outside gets this crispy, golden shell while the inside stays warm and gooey, hitting every texture craving at once.
02 -
  • Don't skip the marinating step even if you're in a hurry; those 15 minutes make the difference between good chicken and chicken that tastes like it came from a proper Korean BBQ restaurant.
  • The butter on the outside is non-negotiable—it's what transforms this from a simple wrap into a legitimate grilled cheese that actually crisps up.
  • If your cheese isn't melting properly, your heat is too high; medium is perfect, and patience beats speed here.
03 -
  • Make your marinade the night before and store it in an airtight container; the flavors deepen, and you'll save yourself time on the actual cooking day.
  • If you're feeding a crowd, assemble all your wraps first, then grill them in batches; this keeps everything organized and nobody's eating cold wraps while you're still cooking.
