# What You'll Need:
→ Citrus
01 - 3 large lemons, juiced (about 0.75 cup)
→ Roots and Spices
02 - 2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
03 - 2-inch piece fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
04 - 0.125 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
→ Liquid
05 - 1 cup filtered water
→ Sweetener
06 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, optional
# Directions:
01 - Combine lemon juice, chopped ginger, chopped turmeric or ground turmeric, filtered water, black pepper, and sweetener if using in a blender.
02 - Blend on high speed until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
03 - Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl to remove all pulp and create a clear liquid.
04 - Pour the strained liquid evenly into compartments of an ice cube tray.
05 - Freeze for a minimum of 2 hours or until completely solid.
06 - Remove 2 cubes per serving and dissolve in warm water, incorporate into smoothies, or consume as a concentrated wellness shot.
